Crockpot French Onion Meatloaf

  • 2 lbs ground beef

  • 1 packet French onion soup mix

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • 2 eggs

  • ¼ cup milk

Flavors & Filling:

  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded (plus extra for topping)

  • ½ cup chopped onions

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • ½ cup ketchup (optional)

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the Ingredients
    In a large mixing bowl, add the ground beef, French onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, and 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese. Mix in the chopped onions, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Gently combine until everything is evenly incorporated without overmixing.

  2. Shape and Prepare
    Shape the mixture into a firm loaf. Carefully place it in the bottom of your crockpot. If desired, spread ketchup evenly over the top for extra flavor.

  3. Slow Cook
    Cover and cook on Low for about 6 hours, or until the meatloaf is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
