Instructions

Lightly crush milk thistle seeds using a mortar and pestle or the back of a spoon.

Bring water to a gentle boil in a small saucepan.

Add crushed milk thistle seeds (and rosemary or mint if using).

Reduce heat and simmer gently for 10–15 minutes.

Remove from heat and let steep for an additional 5 minutes.

Strain the tea into a cup.

Add honey or lemon if desired.

Sip warm.
